The goals of Espanola Fibre Arts are to promote and celebrate fibre arts and fibre artists.  Espanola Fibre Arts is unique in that it celebrates all forms of fibre art including the following : basketry, bobbin lace, crocheting, dyeing, embroidery, felting, knitting, leather work, needle arts, millinery, paper arts, punch needle, quilting, rug hooking, spinning, tapestry, tatting, weaving & wood working etc.

Espanola Fibre Arts hosts an annual festival facilitating opportunities for visitors to view a variety of inspiring demonstrations and displays along with excellent learning & teaching opportunities for all ages.  The Festival includes workshops, lectures and hands-on activities that may be offered in various locations throughout the town of Espanola and surrounding areas. Quality and variety are essential elements to the development of the Festival.  The only festival of its kind, showcasing fibre artists and their work.  Our  team selects unique and authentic instructors, artisans and suppliers from all across Ontario, Canada.  From bobbin lace to wood working, we feature a variety of workshops, demonstrations & fibre arts related activities.  

Espanola Fibre Arts is led by a small group of dedicated volunteers who work all year long to bring various activities and exhibits in the community of Espanola.
